Even though this is technically not green fields exploration at Kanuka, the pegs have never been mapped. So it makes complete sense to RC drill the sh|t out of it to define the best place to commit to core drilling. This procedure is the exact same approach all new hard rock Li explorers from my experience.
The weathered pegmatite at AVZ's Roche Dure ends at around 4 to 10 metres in the pegmatite surface in places according to the current drill data over there. So 60 metres is enough to not only get some true unweathered Li % but determine what type of LCT pegs we have here.
And let's not forget why we are here : AVZ is an absolute beast and our head geo did due diligence on it and performed the same due diligence on Kanuka and Kitotolo. There is now significant investment going into the region from China and others and add to this that the pegmatite belt runs all through this area and as far as nearology plays go, this is a strong one.
AVZ is going ahead with PFS and looks to have several financing options to mine on the table. We already have a mine at Kanuka through JV and raising the finance to add a Li circuit to existing MMR facilities will be much easier.
At this MC the Force play is still a particularly compelling one and I have learned that the harder the market makes you work for a stock, usually the better that play is. If things are too good to be true and money is falling in your lap, keep one eye on the exit.
Always remember the fundamental reason why you believe in a mineral play and ignore the low volume share price movements until the bigger picture unfolds. Wait for results, watch for real trade volume.
