The more things change, the more they remain the same. Labor, by all accounts will win the next election. I recently saw an interview of Niall Ferguson, and he explained why TRUMP won. Not that he is a supporter in the beginning. But his explanation was spot on. 2 reason,
1) Trump says it like it is, that is he uses language that the average middle class america would and could understand.
2) This is the main reason why he won, the middle class americans are so fed up with the elitism, political ruling class they are willing to blow up, disrupt the trend by voting for Trump. Even though, they know there is a chance Trump can cause more harm, but they are willing to give "change" a try and this is by voting in someone that is the total opposite of the political elites in America. Hillary definitely lost when she utter the word "deplorables". I'm jsut waiting for Shorten to utter something similar, "Grubby rich pensioner" maybe.
I think, if we have someone in Australia that is like Trump they have a good chance. I'm thinking One nation, with Pauline and Latham fits the bill. Which is why I'm considering very seriously in voting for them in the coming state/fed election.
And in case I too get modded for being off topic, all these are because of Labors FC policy, Labor has definitely created a "generational war" between the millenials that wants this and that for "Free". While trying to grab money off the already paid taxes in terms of self managed pensioner. In other words, Labors FC policy has a material effect on the shareholder of TLS which I'm one.
PS: I like your story, tried to give you an upvote, but it got removed. Perhaps next time preamble it with some TLS relevance. Seriously, does HC admin really wants to be self-appointed censors like facebook, where male nipples are allowed but not females? How sexist!?
