Trojans reply to me also highlighted he is not advertising he is 'close' to Coby, therefore devulging what could be confused as some insider information (if it's not presented to the public via normal Comm's, and includes certain future thinking statements, it's insider info), and therefore should be trusted.
Some other posters will ellude to this nature. I.e. I've spoken to XYZ on the phone over the weekend. For example.
