At the end of the day I think a lot of people just don't have the stomach for holding spec stocks. Firstly, specs will always have to repeatedly raise capital and doing so will always mean the SP takes a hit to some degree. Secondly, specs attract swarms of unsavoury characters who will make coordinated plays to try to get rich quick. If they succeed, they are taking money from someone's pocket, and it is natural for those investors who lose in the process to get mad. Most of the time, though, the BoD, not the leeches, get the blame for the losses.

Sentiment always turns when the money starts getting made. Go read the 4DS threads and see what I mean. I've invested more in WBT than I have in 4DS; I'm up nearly 70% on 4DS and down 40% on WBT. Not one fibre of my being wishes I'd invested more in 4DS and less in WBT. Even though I recently acknowledged the possibility we could all have had the wool pulled over our eyes on this, I don't believe that is the case. I feel I've been given more reason to trust the WBT board than any other spec I'm invested in. I don't like seeing the market cap diminish but at the end of the day it is kind of irrelevant right now. What matters is the continued path to commercial success.
