Sector, your posts are by and large highly informative and well documented. On the whole you refrain from engaging in personal derogation for which I thank you. However I like the gamble that my investment in AKK presents. AKK is punching on through the greatest of adversities .....lack of money. Perhaps lack of expertise... who knows?? Nevertheless it's held on for years through and is still viable. It owns an oilfield that is producing oil and gas, admittedly in non commercial quantities. The field has the "potential" (and I emphasise the word here) to be quite a long term and lucrative asset should the main and other 2 horizons prove to be exploited as a commercially positive project. As pure conjecture let me put a positive spin on AKK that has more to do with accounting than producing oil. Suppose a large oil producer was facing a huge tax liability, could it not therefore buy AKK for the losses and spend many millions developing the field? Therefore instead of paying taxes and receiving nothing ( figuratively speaking) it buys and develops AKK for the same expenditure and has an oil/gas field. In this event should the venture prove worthless it hasn't cost them anything. Not probable but possible. Years ago I sold a worthless exploration permit.....the buyers turned it into a coal mine. Keep the faith.
