By the sounds LYC and WES have been chatting so I'm sure they are familiar with each other.
As for government asskissing, I think asskicking is now more likely. If Lynas look like investing elsewhere and even decommissioning that plant then all those jobs and all those companies supplying Lynas and all that Chinese help and interest will evaporate from Malaysia.
I'd expect Yeo Inc to start reaching for their ankles soon. They're losing leverage.
