Roseanne Barr was the start of a late 80's eaerly 90's american sitcom named "Roseanne" which was a family tv show and actually for the time was one of very few rather clever comedic efforts from the americans. Think Melissa McCarthy but funny, also starred John Goodman (The Big Lebowski) as her husband.
