Batteries consists of a cobalt oxide cathode, it's a small rod that provides negatively charged electrode, anode made from graphite provides the positive charge and lithium/LTC past on silicon/copper sheets are raped around them.
From my research, both the cathode and anode are looking to be replaced although nothing concrete has been put forward.
