OK, so the announcement at 3pm today has the COO departing and the CEO in handover mode to Tony Scotton. My first thought was 'oh no'! But then the executive team haven't done much recently to move this business forward. I remember meeting Tony at the AGM, and thought he had that 'take no prisoners' look about him. He's clearly moved quickly on his plan. This business is in a sweet-spot in the IoT space, and could do so well.
Just my view, but I think Tony will get this business focussed on the main game (sales) with a very firm hand on costs too. This is good news for us investors.
