When it comes to the options, we have alternate vested interests. My interest is to derive the greatest return on my investment. Reissuing options is contrary to that and l make no apology. The raising of capital for the sake of raising it is also of no interest.
The facts are the options have an expiration date and the terms were well known. People held, bought and sold on the basis of those terms. How do you think those people would feel or what actions would they have taken if it was known they would be extended on their death bed? Many probably took a loss, who took the punt on holding or purchasing these options. I don’t buy the morality argument as it’s an investment and the terms were known, the investment was made and unfortunately the loss should come to fruition.
With respect to future CR or options, l would expect that it would be done on financial reasons or the likelihood of the company becoming a going concern rather than the warm and fuzzy feeling some may get from the resurrection of expired options.
