Its now 8 days since:
The company put out their latest Turesi update and hole 11 had already been started (12th June) and still deadly silence ??? Which also happens to be the longest pause between drilling (hole completion) updates.
Sample analysis was progressing but still no results? (the announcement indicated that the sample were there, but no defined date of arrival) I was under the impression that the switch of labs was to expediate sampling times??
Its now 11 days since:
Watts arrived in Guyana - maybe he is having trouble finding the Turesi ridge ???
Its now 22 days since the last OHD update, the HRL review of the PDU was/is due to be completed in June (so must be getting close) and final approval to proceed and order long lead time items - this is such a blatant example of the fluff that GPP management has feed their shareholders over an extended period of time.
Without being knowledgeable in the field of building plants (maybe @Process1 or @anatol or @Pinkie38) could shed some light on this) and again, with the company informing the ASX after they were issued with an "aware letter" re: previous failed CRC-P grant that their plans weren't changed
- well hello (1), they said that the PDU was going to be operational JUNE THIS YEAR.
- well hello (2) If this was really their intention then why weren't the long lead time items (pumps and heaters) already ordered???
- well hello (3) Their last update has again had the proviso inserted "subject to funding"
The 3 hello points are contradictory to their explanation to the ASX ...
Speaking of grants, the CRC-P grant is scheduled to be announced this month, so that must be also getting close but in all honesty I don't think GPP will be successful.
Reasons being:
1) Within their latest capital raising, there was a mention of "undertaking a strategic review of the OHD project" - so my question is, how can they possibly apply for a grant and expect to be successful when they are going to conduct a strategic review?
2) The failed Monash trials
3) Vague plans moving forward, including the mentioning of planning protocols for platform chemicals
So basically, more dreaming and less action continues.
All quiet on the alleged 249D, not sure if this has been taken off the table or is it going to proceed?
Maybe there has been a compromise????
Interesting that posts in this matter have ceased though!!!!!
With Guyana allegedly having their arms open wide encouraging companies to invest, the Kopang permit is sure taking its time. Maybe a company representative should of presented to the government minister in person, because if they are hesitant to answer shareholders emails maybe any correspondence from the minister is slipping into the junk fill like I suspect "names of selected shareholders" do!!
