I'm talking about the individual piles in each compartment. There's 8 piles in each x12 is 96 piles which gives ~15,000.

I'm going off my good feel for the size of a 50t haulpak dump of basalt ore on a ROM pad and how that compares, but the SG of Iron ore is 5 so it's very heavy. I did use the squiggly line: '~'

Anyway it's really big, though BBX might use something smaller (e.g. the first pic) to get further upstream thus minimising the trucking distance.

It's worth posting because barge transport is a foreign concept for Aussies.
