TRH offering current shareholders an option to participate in a seed capital exercise.

The kicker - shares in escrow for a year, presumably this will cover the ASX listing application and assessment period, as well as time spent finding an African coal resource.

What happens if the company does not list?

What happens if the company fails to find a suitable coal resource or project within the year?

Seed capital set at 10 cents a share, minimum allotment of 40,000 shares ($4,000).

Will the company list on the ASX or TSX or both?

It is good to see that Hugh will be out and about doing what he enjoys, and does best, discovering coal in Africa.

I like the company name, though perhaps it is a little long, and sometimes a bit difficult to get one's tongue around.

Mutapa Coal (as in the ancient Mutapa Empire of the Zimbabwe/Mozambique area) is a little shorter, but then it might not have the same meaning, and I can understand Hugh preferencing the Portuguese/Spanish transliteration, since he speaks Spanish.

I think Mutapa means "First Person of the Ground/Earth", whereas Monomotapa is somewhat more regal, meaning "Lord of the Conquered Land" (though this may be negatively perceived by some as having outdated colonial connotations when applied to white men in Africa).

Monomotapa also refers to a specific mapped locality, the region between the Zambezi and Limpopo rivers, so is this the area where Hugh is going hunting for coal?

Monomotapa also refers to a jumping spider of the Salticidae family, the sole described species, Monomotapa Principalis, is only found in Zimbabwe.

Anyway, enough of the history and geography.

I will support the seeding and take up my 40,000 shares in Monomotapa.

I expect that when the company IPOs, those with seed capital will also get a priority allotment.
