Hi Nih
I wonder if you or another informed investor can speculate on the longer term if I decide to hold onto my large holding.
I know little about the process from here.
It seems highly unlikely that another investor will step in to offer a counter bid. The offer will likely succeed.
Therefore, one likely scenario is that the scheme will get thru, but Tremont will not achieve the 90% level and we will become minority holders.
Given that they are an overseas company, can I assume that they will be anxious not to retain encumbrance of ASX listing?
Hence, the minorities may be offered a better deal down the track after the dust settles to get them over the 90% threshold.
If they opt to retain the ASX company, can we expect that holders will be faced with large capital raisings to fund the development?
I just do not know where to head with this.
