RXP currently has $15million of deferred consideration liabilities.
By holding the dividend to 2 x 1.5c = 3c annual dividend, they can free up approx $5 p.a. to paydown the deferred consideration liability.

This would create a much stronger company in the future.

The saving will be $0.015/share * 161m shares = $2.4m
