Getting a bid for the business or the family not wanting to surrender ownership?

They are mutually inclusive, to a large extent.
No corporation will be so naive to make a bid if they did not think it had a chance of succeeding. And it would have zero chance of succeeding if the family didn't want it to.
Besides, SDI has been through far worse circumstances that today's and none of those occasions precipitated the family members electing to throw in the towel.
This is their baby. They'll keep plugging away at it like they always have done.
Which outcome? Getting a bid for the business or the family not...
