Like you, I was aware that SDI's customer base was undergoing some kind of consolidation, but I thought that it would be a multi-year outworking, so tended to downplay it as a shadow at which I needn't be jumping.
That's the thing about being involved in the business of investing in publicly-listed companies: it often dishes out lessons in humility.
I had been long overdue stepping on a landmine.
Funny how they are often buried in fields where you least expect them.
