The article basically shows that the great prophecy that the Rio Olympics would show how digital streaming is leaving FTA Networks for dead has been greatly over exaggerated.

325 million minutes was watched digitally and 68 million was viewed on social media. The vast majority of the viewing 20.7 billion minutes (yes billion), was watched via TV sets.
As I have mentioned before, as long as the Anti-siphoning laws remain and the Government supports reform to protect local content and broadcasting, the death of the FTA industry is also being greatly over exaggerated.
Also today is the day we have all been waiting for (well me anyway), the Senate Inquiry is due to report today on the Media Reform Bill. Fingers crossed for another star to align.
