Although in a different industry, many years ago (1990s), EWC thought it had gas resources in India and was going to make money establishing power plants. Never happened and SP dragged on around 1-2c until they found more gas in Indonesia with the Government willing to support a power plant at Sengkang. The shares then shot up (over 100c, I think). EWC now facing a new dilema over LNG storage and power plant in the Philippines with steadily decreasing SP.
