What seems to be clear is that whatever the news is that they cant divulge, it is positive news otherwise why would the SP have risen so high so quickly.
I wonder if there is a merger in the wind and you could not rule out completely a takeover. Perhaps another company is in discussion with them over one of those two options. This is pure speculation on my part.
