"Revised" FY 2009 guidance. Obviously won't be good.

Hard for optimists to win in this climate. I wonder how BHP's Ravensthorpe nickel shutdown and other production cutbacks will affect AEC's outlook. I read somewhere that BHP is hitting suppliers and contractors for charge reductions or lose BHP's business. In the case of assay and metallurgy services, realistically how much choice and therefore how much pressure can be applied to AEC by customers?

As pointed out, a significant part (25%?) of AEC's business is in gold testing. This sector has a good chance of remaining bullish and might take up the slack if nickel work orders slump.

Alonso, we've already lost the equivalent a few years interest via capital loss. The upcoming announcement would need to contain strong reassurance for us not to see continued decline. Next buying support would be in the 1.00 - 75c band I guess (and it is just a guess). Need a positive statement.
