Makes perfect sense to sit some cash on the sidelines until you see a DFS and other de-risking progress is made.
The issue with de-risking is that is usually comes at a price. It's only through taking calculated and well understood risk that you can make a return.
As Rookie has pointed out, EV is $14m, even with our cash and option funding ignored we're under $30m fully diluted. Wait as long as you like but you generally can't expect to buy a share of a likely near term (mining within 12 months of today) producer at this price.
$290k for one percent. Perhaps double or triple that to hold 1% after the required funding dilition. That value puts TMT in it's own category as an opportunity for the ordinary every day Australian to own a meaningful piece of a multi billion dollar generational asset. This seriously doesn't happen every day.
Of course the opportunity is only available to the few who have spotted it early. One or two serious buyers will quickly move this price... so yeah, keep some money on the sidelines by all means but remember that if it's all out then you're exposed to just as much risk as having it all in.
IMO - not advice, I don't know your name, let alone your story
