The base metal concentrate has potential to be a significant contributor in support of the development of the Gabanintha Project as the base metal grades in concentrate are very high as explained on announcements. That's what you will see in Resource Update and DFS. We need to see more details by the anns on Friday.
Same thing is being done at Olympic Dam projects in SA. A lots of minerals are being mined together and processed there. Btw, the Gabanintha area is being mentioned as a small Olympic Dam in the mining community as it has interesting similarities with OD.
As you can also see in AVL's situation, there are two seperate companies owning the same tenements for the vanadium and base metals. That must tell you that there is a serious value to base metals in the ground there.
Regarding to oxide and fresh ore mining, I think that is the situation for all mines. It's only the matter of mine design. Thanks to @Therookie88 as he posted the graphic explains the steep walls for reducing waste. That's what the company is working on.
