I'm not 100% certain how ASX release issued announcements, but I have heard a few times that the company will just submit it for release, and the ASX will do that in their own time.
My point being TMT could't hand it over now and say, "release this at 4pm when I hit the stage"..
Which considering market closes then makes it irrelevant, but it could be hard to time a market release with the news being announced to a group of investors in person?

Anyway, I do get the feeling that if the resource is pretty much ready, Ian will want to be sharing this during the presentation so we could expect it to be submitted to ASX around that time, for compliance? Even with trading halt is it still acceptable that the presentation releases figures etc, but the market could still wait 2 days for the same news?

I probably have made no sense and gone in a circle.
I'm thinking it is released to market after 4pm today, i am sure is what I was getting at.
