The ASX pulling us up is not ideal but I actually think that it is a masterstroke that they have presented this an update. It gets the full picture out in the market.
The last official SS was absolutely torn to shreds by the ASX and we ended up having to present ridiculously conservative capex numbers. This is about the same time the ASX changed the goalposts on all juniors and what should be contained in a SS and we got cvaught up in that big time along with a number of others.
When you force someone in a corner, they tend to fight back. I think KRR have quite astutley have put this out there as an update. By the look of things, an update does not need pre endorsement from the ASX like a SS does.
On the negative side, it's probably best not to rile the ASX up too much with the PFS due soon.
On the positive side of things, at least the market knows the full parameters, not watered down potential of this project!
