A couple of things...

A comparison of reserves... AIS 8.4M/t @ 1.5% Cu [=130Kt Cu]... CSA 12M/t @ 5.5% Cu, Dec 2016 [=~700Kt Cu]
According to the AFR article about $600M of the purchase has been organised. The question mark hangs over the remaining ~$200M which is being handled by Macquarie Capital and RBC Capital Markets. It will be the terms of that capital raise which will be the interesting bit, in the short term, for us retail holders. Hopefully management look after us in this.
Longer term, if Torrens is a success, AIS will be big enough to consider developing it themselves.... which is what I have been hoping for and one of the reasons I decided to concentrate my funds only in AIS.
