If you are a long term holder of AIS (Straits Resources) you may be familiar with two earlier attempts by AIS to purchase the Cornish, Scottish and Australia mine. Last time the deal fell through at the last minute. I would bet London to a Brick that the required diligence has been undertaken. Glencore has the base metal off-take agreement with AIS - this matter would have been well negotiated before today.
I'm feeling like a new owner of CSA already.
