Forty years ago Mildura (in competition with Griffith) was the cannabis capital of Australia. Perhaps what goes around comes around. Back then the crops were often ruined by the downdraught from police choppers; now the biggest problem may be climate control - the Murray Valley could become almost uninhabitable in the not too distant future.
