As known they intend to source autoclaves from the USA, Ravensthorpe had its autoclaves manufactured in Coffs Harbour but that manufacturer has gone under and Murrin, Cawse and Bulong by the Australian Submarine Corporation in Adelaide, there was issues with the Murrin claves in the tititanium bonded shell started to lift which required expensive internal repairs.
A lot of the materials around HPAL will have to come from overseas due to those materials not being produced in Aust such as Duplex and titanium but the final welding will occur on site. The acid plant itself you will find will come from whoever is selected as lump sum turnkey constructor as is the usual case with acid plants. The storage tanks and transfer lines of acid will come from Aust as they will be stick built not modularied and are standard grade steel protected from the acid by Anodic protection. Things like mills/scrubbers and crushers will be manufactured overseas but full assembled here, Aust does not have those types of manufacturers here but they do have offices and full service facilities. The big tanks will be stick built here as they are too large to transport and even the small ones will prob be made here also. Switchrooms will prob be done here but the internal switch gear will prob once again come from overseas and once again full service contracts will be carried out by Aust offices same as Geho pumps. The power steam turbines associated with excess steam from acid plant will have to come from overseas buf all auxillary equip such as cooling towers, piping etc can be done here. Most valves can be made here excepting the discharge/inlet valves for claves that will most prob come from O/S due to their specialised nature but will be overhauled here.
