G'day dugsab. I checked that web site about 3 times every day, just in case, but, I wasn't expecting it on a Friday and so soon after the office had re-opened. I am a stickler for the continuous disclosure rules and IMO the granting of the ML would most certainly have been "material" requiring "immediate" notification from the company to the ASX. The fact that it hadn't been announced, by, again IMO, a TH, suggested that management did not share my view, as it never has, remembering that we released the landowner's and TO agreements on HC before the company did. Thinking that if I knew that the ML had been granted as a result of a public servant posting it on their website, after what they had been through the week before, then, surely, either Heatherington's and/or LNY management would have known before me. It pissed me off and knowing how all of us here were anxiously awaiting that "integral milestone" (management's own words) I immediately posted it, twice, on HC in two different threads. It then took the ASX to pull the "pause" button after 3 and a half hours of trading and 36 million shares having been traded, for LNY to be dragged to call a TH right on close time. Begs the question, when would they have made the announcement if the ASX hadn't obviously demanded it? I'd also like noted that I didn't buy any LNY shares last week and certainly none after I read that notice and I only hold a very modest number.
I hope you are right and that they announce it first thing on Monday as, from HC's records, at least over 3.5K already know.
There are several factors influencing the price of gold and most of them should have a positive effect for the foreseeable future.
I still reckon that we won't see any solid work taking place at Agate Creek until the "wet season" looks like it's over i.e. late March.
Looking forward to seeing what's in the TH ann and if that influences any more interesting discussion here on HC, a top forum.
My honest sentiment with what's going on now is to at least "hold" and I'll be reviewing that after the next ann.
