Amigos, I enjoy all the various comments on the CCZ site and nice to hear some local knowledge in these difficult times. From my mining experiences elsewhere in NSW, in order to submit an Exploration Licence Application (ELA), it is a condition that community consultation must be carried out during every year of the exploration. The company has to describe in its proposed work program, the steps it will take (eg community meetings, newsletters, websites, etc) and, once the Exploration Licence (EL) is granted, those commitments are checked by the Department each year, along with all the other commitments (i.e., the drilling, soil geochemistry, funds spent, etc). The company must have an approved Technical Manager who has sufficient qualifications and experience, to run the show. These are standard requirements and not unreasonable tasks for professional outfits. The company should have sufficient shareholder funds to employ consultants, drillers, etc to carry out these tasks. (Even directors may do some work from time to time.) More specifically CCZ's drilling is being carried out on freehold land (not State Forest), so there should be nothing unusual with regards CCZ's access and use of the properties. In order to carry out a drilling program, the company has to have a signed contract with the property owner/s. (Maybe CCZ owns the land, but I have no idea about that.) From now on CCZ has to do everything by the book. It's pointless blaming greenies, administrators, posters on HC, etc. CCZ has a fundamentally good prospect but has made some mistakes, which they are currently (hopefully) rectifying.
