But I think he did do his due diligence, as far as being a board member goes. The onsite breaches are line management issues, not issues a board member would normally deal with directly. Someone must be supervising the onsite activities, and that person possibly failed in their duties. IF not then someone else up the chain of command.
@ DoubleDown!
Copper is the focus, any gold is a copper credit. The regulator has responded to a consumer complaint and acted accordingly. It is not a matter of wrath, let alone restrictions being placed on further activity. The law does not allow that. CCZ is entitled to continue exploring and make further applications. A sanction might be placed on them by the regulator if they have been found to show poor compliance, but that would not preclude them from making a ML application.
Alan is relatively young but its a bit unfair to say he should be replaced, or that he is a monkey. Overall he has steered the company reasonably well despite this mistake. Shyte happens but I wouldnt want to see any more mistakes like this.
The voluntary suspension is not suspicious at all. They have brought it in since actual exploration activity has ceased, with the added benefit of arresting further damage to the share price. It makes perfect sense for them to remediate the issues at hand during this time. I think it is a logical move, but yes it is a pity it had to happen at all.

The STCM Group are a Facebook/letterbox drop crowd, most of them wouldnt know what is really going on, so the numbers dont mean much. At the core is usually a few individuals who have an agenda. As residents they seem to be concerned about another potential disaster like the old mistakes of Baal Gammon , Redbank , Lady Annie and King River in Tasmania. The regulator should know know what restrictions to put in place to prevent such events ever happening again. That is why why have all these environmental controls nowdays.
Flying a drone over private property and filming is illegal to my knowledge.
There is no reason at all to assume stockpile removal would not be allowed. We would not want to move onto other tenements when we have spent so much exploring Cangai, even to the extent of doing DHEM surveys. We want that supergene ore.
All stocks are out of favour at the moment if you are watching the market. There is a correction going on, but first class mineral discoveries, esp copper ones, will ALWAYS rise above that.
@kh1961 Come on they should be listened to if they have valid concerns.
