Hi @Proxylady, I think you've made some valid points there. What can't be denied is that an unnatural level of hubris crept into the organisation and the culture seemed to be acquisition at any cost. Andrew Buckley has proved to be a strategic disaster in his later time at Cardno. On my last count managed to turn $1 Billion in acquisitions into $300 Million - accounting for all of the right downs. I think Renshaw's plans would have been fine if the firm was not lumbered with the debt. But I don't think he was a modern thinker. I've heard similar stories about their last chair. I can only hope that they finally have there #@#! together. Under normal circumstances Cardno would have been gobbled up by one of the big boys by now.
