    Incidentally the hydro scheme in Ecuador ended up a huge disaster, the impact on CDD relatively minor in the wider scheme of things.

    An interesting article on the subject, some real rookie planning errors - unbelievable to think of this as an electrical engineer from NZ. Hydro dams built and silting up, can't take all the power - doubling down on dry year risk!


    Definitely could have saved a lot if they spent $2 or 3k asking us some basic questions. Staggering.
