State Gas Limited requests the granting of an immediate trading halt in its securities pending an announcement relating to drilling and logging results of the Nyanda-4 coal seam gas and conventional gas well, which is situated within PL 231 and of which GAS currently has a 80% interest".
"The trading halt is necessary to review, assess and report the results from Nyanda-4 to ensure that the market is informed".
I think the above wording is significant. The time delay until Tuesday confirms to me that they have come across something significant in order to test the logging results. I am seriously excited about all this..
If results were not that good we would have been advised that the appraisal well had been P& A and further logging and testing per the program would continue an no trading halt. That's my take anyway.
The first drill result was excellent. Great GAS pressure and confirmed well and truly what they went to drill for. The team GAS very happy.
The second drill. Well if it confirms what I am hoping for could be a GAME CHANGER for not only GAS SH but will of course impact all TEG SH.in a big way.
Sky11 you may finally get your wish. I am hoping that the starting gun will be triggered on Tuesday.
GAS AGM
Finally after a number of telephone discussions I was able to meet the head of GAS Greg Baynton. What an absolute gentleman.
Very smart and very well connected.
The thing that strikes me with GAS is the quality of the Board.
The AGM did go for a very long time. One gentleman in particular had many questions for the Board and advised after a while that he was a SH of GAS and a recent Senior executive of a well known ASX listed entity. He supplied his name and ex company.
He had many technical questions about the drills and our GAS Geo was more than competent to answer. Some of his Q were very good,
The Drill presentation was excellent and it was very helpful because I have read many previous drill reports from the likes of VicPet and things were put into perspective for me.
On sitting down I went into in depth discussion also with a very well dressed and spoken gentleman from China.
This chap had many questions for me about GAS. A very nice and courteous man. While having a cup of tea with Greg after the AGM I asked about this chap as he said he new Greg personally. Greg informed he was a senior Geo and personal advisor to some of the wealthiest Asian investors in Aust. The moral of this little story is you never ever know who you sit next to at an AGM - right?
Obviously as we all know there is a great deal off interest in the East Coast Gas market. But lots of interest at Ye little old GAS. Yum Yum in the Tum Tum.
So we are surrounded by permit holders known as Santos and Origin. There we are smack bang in middle of it all with Lots and Lots of conventional gas and soon we will all find out about possible CSG.
Origin I have been informed is approx. 30k's away from our permit and has just spudded their drill to go roughly 2.5 k's into the ground at a cost of about $50mil.........By Jingo George I think your starting to GETIT.
Lucy Snelling senior Legal. An absolutely delightful Lady. Has played a major part in getting us to an OUTSTANDING 80% of this permit.
Tony Bellas very well spoken and carries a serious Aura about him when you chat with him.
But connected .Seriously all these people have had or have Senior Senior roles within most of the major energy companies.
How could you want anymore than this.
Hey forgot to mention one Dealmaker Towner. Hey this is the guy that put all this together and made it all happen.
What a brilliant job Rob Towner has done here. Mate if this comes off U got to Chief Legendary Status.
GAS is so tightly held and we TEG are the major player.
You know in business I have learnt that sometimes you just get swept away when you least expect it and from an area that you thought would never end up having such an impact.
Who knows for many SH like myself this could be the turning point we have all been waiting for. To say I eagerly await the last drill results is a serious understatement. But my call is "Strap In".
PS..Only rumor. I can't confirm. But couple of my sources inform possible listing Tamarind on ASX Q1 2019.
Hey GLTASH. Stay cool we await some major news.
All of the above IMHO only.
