@Cujocat and all.
I would not worry about some dusters. They had that at Blue Moon.
While being a short term let down it does not mean that the goods are not there.
It may mean that we will not drill again for a while though other than to full fill their contractural obligations while hoping to make contact with some rich parts of the fault.
They will not spend money looking if they don't get some success immediately.
That will only put their exploration costs up and atm they don't want that.
Farno McMahon was owned by Carl Dorsh and before that Chalice.
The Hedgeless Horseman (@WhackyWolly) is looking up some old drill results that were done possibly by Chalice, I have not had time to verify those yet.
Chalice is now run by Alex Dorsh, Carls' son. That has only been since late 2017 but they must have access to some good historical exploration. One thing that @Shamer stated, if they find the goods, Chalice may be in an embarrassing situation. HH seems to be indicating that suggestions were there and may have been right under their noses. He will no doubt post something on that in time if there is enough material.
The original rock chips that were put up by deg when this was announced were given to them by Carl.
Actually, I was told that there was one that was missed and close to 1oz grade.
If anyone knows this land, It would be Carl and I imagine he would have talked to Andy about the best targets to pursue. I would also suggest that by now, Andy would be very familiar with all of these possible targets and which to prioritise. The problem being, you can't always be right as proven by initial results from the first drill holes, but that does not mean the goods are not there. Being extensions of that structural fault and rock chips of up to just under 1oz, I will bet two small parts of my anatomy that the goods are there. ( I have had all my children so they are not much good to me now anyway ).

Keep in mind that Carl has been mining that area for some time and he has been making money from his small operation. He knows the ground intimately. He is not young so $8m from novo, is better to him than looking at more years working in that heat.
FM jv is next to Blue Moon and that is the area that Andy described as being some of the richest he as seen in his career. Novo are also very excited by their part of FM.
Not sure what may be found in the short term but I definitely think there is plenty of potential going by what the previous owners found there.
And nobody will ever forget this pic and that statement by Andy.
As the flogged saying goes, That didn't come down with the last rain.
Reminds me of that drill core that was put up from Fosterville.
Let's just hope that they find some goods early in the piece.
Here is another link from the Blue Moon acquisition ann.
These two areas are next door to each other.
