High goodwill in an acquisition hungry company is normal though. Also, one of the first agenda items for every audit (HY/FY/Stat etc) is goodwill so I can;t understand any bypass here.
Or is this the point VGI are trying to make that the cosy relationship with auditor lets goodwill write downs slide? That's more a mud sling on PwC than CTD in my mind.
