All it is is a bill that hasn't been paid.
It is recorded in Bills payable in the last financial report.
Therefore in effect paying this bill will not make any difference to the bottom line.
Some cash will go out to pay the bill and the bills payable will be reduced by the same amount leaving us right where we are currently sitting.
From where I stand it seems Maria has missed out on a possible windfall where provisions for a debt could have been reversed back to the other side of the ledger if she had won the case.
Quite justified to question the quality of service and withhold payment, much the same as anyone would do if they perceived shoddy building work or were presented with a less than palatable meal at a restaurant.
