I think there is a decent chance that Mike Dunbar will be replaced as MD and possibly slotted into another background role. I don't see why else there would be a TH re board changes as the major shareholders have already stepped down. I don't think Mike has shown competence in this phase of the company growth. I think a major change like this, providing his replacement has relative GOLD production experience, will be very positive for GCY long term.

I don't think we have anything to lose by shaking up the board.

Agree. I'm not sure I've ever seen a trading halt for board changes but replacing the MD would seem the most likely reasoning. They only recently replaced the other board positions.

Could it be a possibility that Ian Murray (recently added to the board) might become MD?
