I have seen photos of core samples. .
I did not think of the mapping uses of an intact cylinder vs ground rock ...... my possible scenario had the TBM machine simply coded for whatever mineral it was chasing and letting it going through the seam collecting and ejecting the ore.
I appreciated you sharing some logic and methodologyon underground mining and now again for seriously considering a question based on no understanding of mining or engineering, nothing about seams and small knowledge of mini TBMs...
I see it would not be cost efficient to grind anything other than the seam ...But a TBM “less than 100mm” sounds like something out of science fiction ..almost like using nano surgical surgical procedures on the veins in the earth.
....why not ? Drag and pull back ?
Thank you again for encouraging strangers to think and learn.
As to the ‘relatively uneducated opinion’
I’ll call ‘humbug’ on that plough . Relative is always relative is it not?
Your posts have been clear and on point . Speculator was pleased to see you
You say you personally know good people in mining .
I cane across posts by you in relation to an ugly attempted board spill in 2014 where you indicated you had given advice to the company under attack.
You indulged my curiousity with a sane and clear answer regards the TBM.
You know about mining .
