Cant blame you for wanting to get out Avanti. Fed up has got to be an understatement. Anyone seriously longterm into this has been screwed imo.
Interstingly no one has criticized the lawyers in all of this and they possibly need to be taken to task for not creating something more watertight. Gina has a history of taking up these big cases and losing, possibly the lawyers are the ones making the money here.. She has backed out of this to an extent and it could be possibly due to her own desire to not to be at constant logger heads with govt idiocy. Or she just doesnt believe said lawyers anymore. Smart move. Wish I had done the same.
Im pissed off. If you personally try to take the giants on over something totally reasonable you will lose. Official bodies that dont work in any moral sense include ASIC, the banks, the fair work ombudsman, and now for us unfortunately the law itself. Being reasonable has nothing to do with anything. Not good.
If gas prices start to rocket in the next two months that would be in our best interest, but could cause a good deal of suffering for the Vic tax payer. One can only hope they see the light come election time.
Other catalysts that could make getting out first thing tomorrow at any cost a bad move include re-capitalisation, drill plan for South Aus, and between now and the state election the labour govt overturning their own stupid policy.
