Strategic investors pile into Cassini Resources
"Perth-based gold, zinc and nickel hopeful Cassini Resources has picked up an interesting shareholder as part of a wider equity raising undertaken with the help of Ashanti Capital.
Street Talk understands Xu Jinfu, chairman and major shareholder of Chinese end-user Tinci Materials, is one of a number of Asia-based investors to tip fresh funds into the company.
It comes as Cassini raised $4.2 million at 6.1¢ a share, according to a term sheet sent to investors. The offer was priced at a 10.3 per cent discount to its last closing price of 6.8¢.
Funds raised were to get Cassini through its feasibility study on its West Musgrave Project.
The company's shares went into a trading halt on Thursday morning
Cassini had a $26.8 million market capitalisation prior to the offer."
