"Gold miner Classic Minerals (ASX:CLZ) was the most actively traded small cap in the first hours of the morning, with 50.4 million shares worth $250,00 changing hands by 11.30am.
The stock increased as much as 50 per cent to an intraday high of 6c before settling to 5c after the company outlined strong drilling results which showed high-grade gold intercepts at its Forrestania project in Western Australia".
