Delays cause uncertainty and we are all on-edge, so hopefully this incoming email from Senex will help explain, and I am happy to share it.
"Dear Senex Shareholder,
The team at Senex apologies to you for today's trading halt and the 24hours of uncertainty that you are all enduring, but we hope you will understand the cause of the delay and be pleased with the announcement when it occurs tomorrow.
By way of explanation, our team has been working exceptionally hard to deliver on our ambitious plans for our valuable gas assets which will be transformational for the company and which will deliver fine returns for our shareholders.
Our dedicated Brisbane-based team has been working long hours and had planned to complete matters on the weekend for announcement this morning.
However, the weekend weather was just brilliant with sunny 25degree days and only light winds, and with glorious sandy beaches so close nearby, the team just had to take Sunday off and head to the aptly-named Sunshine Coast for a swim.
Again, apologies for the short delay, but once you see the photo below I am sure that you will understand.
