I agree with Pharmargeddon that the current price should not matter soon if their strategy proves right. And I still believe this is a buy and intend to hold my shares, however I am confused about the timing, sizing, and price of the capital raising. I am very keen on hearing about the strategy behind this big a raising.
Many, including myself, are assuming that profitability is close. I was considering the possibility of another raising of $1m-$2m to fund the next steps (ULTA, Sephora, Europe, maybe a TV campaign). However, I was expecting a raising to sophisticated investors such as Dennis Eck. Maybe reading between the lines, the word "rapid" in the latest investor presentation was actually a hint that things could go fast now, and that more capital would be required. Maybe this is finally a stroll away from the baby step approach of the past years.
Regardless, if they need this much capital for evolis alone, then there must be something big on the horizon... There better is.
