Feeds lots are high maintenance and are subject to a lot of environmental issues no matter where they are.
J & F exit (JBS) to the feed lots is like wanting the cake and eat it too, a couple of the meatworks like Beef City and Riverina rely solely on the feeds lots operation for processing their beef.
If JBS were to exit the market(sell) things could be a little different in the future but RFF do have a reasonable term lease and if JBS want in back in 5 years they have to sell it back.
