In reality it should not take 2 days to replay. There are many precedents for this kind of situation where price/volume rise whilst then company is awaiting lab results. In fact a simple template format could be used for such a reply. Options are
    1. Sargeant Schultz reply …. "I know nuffin"
    2. Or simply say that market is aware that results are to be released soon and that the price/volume is likely due to market speculation. Simple as that, who can prove otherwise
    3. Or if the company has the assays already, advise when they were received, and state the company is in the process of interpreting these prior releasing results to market.

Whether or not there is a leak, its not upto the company to comment, and if ASIC/ASX think there is insider trading they ( ASIC/ASX) can follow it up, its not the company's responsibility to do so. So, basically, no reason pen cannot be put to paper and have a reply released today , in fact almost immediately.

Proving insider trading on penny stocks is almost impossible and I doubt ASIC/ASX would do anything even if they suspected, although not proven. They are after the big fish. Most buying yesterday was likely momentum trading, anyone questioned about their buying would simply reply I bought in because the volume and price were increasing. Go prove otherwise. Ain't worth the trouble.
