Kitty Maybe I am a bit sarcastic. But if I controlled 50% I can organise a capital raise and let the other 50% help pay down the debt. Then in the future I do a take over and the other half has already covered the debt. If I do the takeover now I have to cover 100% of the debt. My other thought is that the capital raise pays off the debt. What is the interest rate on the debt? At a minimum I generate that return on my additional capital invested.
