REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Battery Minerals Limited [ASX Code: BAT] requests that an immediate trading halt be put on its securities pending the release of an announcement to the market regarding a fund raising. Battery Minerals is seeking the trading halt to assist in managing its disclosure obligations in relation to the fund raising and maintaining an orderly market in the trading of its ordinary shares and to ensure that trading does not take place in an uninformed market. Battery Minerals requests that the trading halt end on the earlier of the commencement of trading on Thursday, 17 May 2018 or when the anticipated announcement regarding a fund raising is released to the market. Battery Minerals Limited is not aware of any reason why a trading halt should not be granted, nor of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt. P
