Fracking and responsible mining are two completely different things Loutcrop, my brother is one of the senior geologist at a major multinational miner here in Perth so I have nothing against responsible mining per se, I certainly don't classify uranium mining as being in that category though.
When nuclear waste can be safely disposed of permanently with absolutely zero risk or reused then it will be fine until then it is just another just grossly unnecessary environmental nightmare in my opinion.
